Power is hidden. Jorge Reyna

Giovanni Alejandro Reyna (born November 13, 2002) is a professional soccer player for Borussia Dortmund and the United States. One of the best young players in the world.

When his father, Claudio Reyna, played for Sunderland A.F.C., Reyna was born in England. Both of his parents played soccer for the US men's and women's national teams.

Borussia Dortmund beat FC Augsburg 5–3 in Reyna's Bundesliga debut on January 18, 2020.

Reyna scored his first professional goal in a 3–2 DFB-Pokal Round of 16 loss to Werder Bremen on February 4. He became the youngest German Cup goalscorer.

In warm-ups for Borussia Dortmund's derby against Schalke on May 16, Reyna injured his calf.[13] On May 23, Reyna played 11 minutes in a 2–0 win at VfL Wolfsburg.

Reyna replaced Jadon Sancho in Dortmund's number 7 shirt on July 28, 2021.[23] He made 50 Bundesliga appearances against Hoffenheim on August 27.

Giovanni is the son of former Rangers, Sunderland, Manchester City, New York Red Bulls, and United States player Claudio Reyna  and former USWNT player Danielle Reyna.

After recovering from injuries, Reyna became the first American to score two Champions League assists in a 3–0 win over Copenhagen on September 6, 2022.
