Tom Brady was fined by the NFL for attempting to trip Dallas Cowboys safety Malik Hooker in the playoffs' first round.
The league fined Brady $16,444, as shown in the video below by Jon Machota of The Athletic: The Cowboys defeated the Buccaneers 31-14 to progress to the NFL Divisional Round against the 49ers.
The NFL responded to Brady's bad news: Needed more. Laurie Horesh called it a scam. “Good. I hate QBs doing that. “Mac Jones,” one admirer tweeted.
Brady fined? Soul contract expired. Explains his decline. "Sold his soul for 7 Super Bowls, now he's just a mortal guy, no longer untouchable," commented another fan.
“So, Mac Jones really is the next Tom Brady!” wrote a fan. “Should have gotten a red card for the slide tackle, to be honest.” another fan.
Brady and the Buccaneers have not addressed the fine. The Buccaneers won the NFC South an 8-9 record.
