Fruits for Dogs?

Dogs can eat fruits. Some are healthful and part of a balanced diet, while others are harmful. Some are safe in moderation or with appropriate preparation.

Most dogs like some fruits, but they don't like citrus fruits like oranges or cranberries. Fruit can be a treat or supplement for dogs, but they don't require it.

BLUEBERRIES

Antioxidants and fiber in these berries help your dog's intestines.

CUCUMBERS

This food may help your dog shed weight. Vitamins outnumber carbs.

WATERMELON

Your dog may eat this fruit without the rind or seeds. Potassium, vitamin A, B-6, and C are abundant. It's a refreshing summer treat as it's mainly water.

BANANA

This sugary fruit should be a pleasure.

STRAWBERRIES

These are high in sugar, so consume them sparingly.
